Hi! I'm Eva Fordham, and welcome to Expert Philanthropy.
For over 15 years, I've worked alongside generous individuals and families across the San Francisco Bay Area, Silicon Valley, and Southern California. I'm a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® (CAP®) through The American College of Financial Services, and my background as a nonprofit fundraiser gives me a firsthand understanding of how meaningful — and how genuinely transformative — thoughtful giving can be.
I've seen that people love making a difference through charitable giving, but the process can feel overwhelming. My goal is to make giving a meaningful and rewarding experience, free of the friction that so often gets in the way — so we can transform your philanthropic vision into something real and lasting.
And now, a bit about me…
My fundraising career has taken me across some truly impactful organizations, most recently Save the Children. Before that, I contributed to the missions of After-School All-Stars (founded by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger) and UCLA, and I began my career in San Francisco with The Salvation Army and the American Red Cross, after living abroad in Spain and Ireland.
I earned my Bachelor's in Communications/Journalism from Fordham University, followed by a Master's in Public Administration from Metropolitan College of New York. I serve on the membership committee of the International Association of Advisors in Philanthropy (AiP), and am a member of the Beverly Hills Estate Planning Council.
When I'm not advising, you'll usually find me on the beautiful hiking trails around Los Angeles, catching the latest films, planning my next travel adventure, or relaxing with friends and family.
