About
Hi! I'm Eva Fordham, and welcome to Expert Philanthropy.
For over 15 years, I've worked with generous high-net-worth individuals and families in the San Francisco Bay Area, Silicon Valley, and Southern California. Over that time, I learned that philanthropists enjoy making a difference through charitable giving, but the process can feel overwhelming.
With my extensive experience as a fundraiser in the non-profit industry, I know how impactful philanthropy can be. Whether it's supporting higher education, after-school programs, or humanitarian relief, the difference that people can make is incredible!
My goal is to ensure clients have a meaningful and rewarding experience supporting a cause, without feeling discouraged by the process. It is my hope that I can collaborate with client’s to help transform philanthropic visions into inspirational realities.
And now, a bit about me…
I'm thrilled to be putting my decades of experience to work for clients, and helping to make a real impact on philanthropy. In addition to advising, I'm also actively involved in the community, serving as the chapter lead for the Fordham University Alumni Association in Los Angeles, serving on the membership committee of the International Association of Advisors in Philanthropy, and as a member of the Beverly Hills Estate Planning Council. In my free time, you can usually find me enjoying the beautiful trails here in Los Angeles, catching the latest films, planning my next travel adventure, or simply relaxing with friends and family.
My fundraising career has taken me across some truly impactful organizations, with my most recent work being with Save the Children. Before that, I contributed to the vital missions of After-School All-Stars (a non-profit organization founded by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger) and UCLA. My journey began earlier in San Francisco, where I first worked with The Salvation Army and the American Red Cross after returning from living abroad in Spain and Ireland.
My foundations were built in my hometown of Corte Madera in Marin County, California, where I graduated from Redwood High School. I then followed my path to New York to attend Fordham University, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications/Journalism. A few years later, I deepened my commitment to public service by completing a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Metropolitan College of New York.
